Our Vision
Vibrant Atmosphere
We see our worship services, prayer meetings and small groups as places where people hunger for the presence of God and where God delights to inhabit and dwell. In a vibrant atmosphere of worship, prayer and discipleship, we see people encountering God and the manifestation of signs, wonders and miracles.
Incredible Unity
We see Trinity Christian Centre as a church living together in covenantal relationships; where small groups, ministries, families and individuals are flowing in corporate unity to fulfill God’s purpose and plan for the church for that hour.
Passionate Heartbeat
We see a people consumed with a vision to touch the world for Jesus Christ and to see His glory displayed throughout the world. We see a church with a passionate heartbeat to fulfill God’s global agenda through sending men and women of faith to equip and empower churches and the body of Christ.

Our Story
1970 — 1971
Rev and Mrs Glenn Stafford
Trinity had its humble beginnings in the personal residence of its
founders, Rev and Mrs Glenn Stafford at 1 Freenleaf View in
September 1969. The Staffords were missionaries from the
Assemblies of God, America.
Their hearts' cry was have a Pentecostal witness in District 11 of
Singapore, so they started a prayer meeting with 10 people, including
five from their family, in their home in September 1969. The weekly
prayer meetings continued until April 1970 when the Staffords
launched the first Sunday Service at No.2 Hillcrest Road in Bukit
Timah. Trinity Christian Centre was birthed.1971 — 1974
Rev and Mrs Raymond Busby
July 1971 saw the handing over of the young church to another set of
missionary pastors, Rev and Mrs Ray Busby. They grounded the
church in the Word of God. More young people continued to attend
Trinity and were led to Christ. This group of young adults would
eventually become the core group of members and workers in Trinity.1974 — 1976
Rev and Mrs Robert Ferguson
In February 1974, Rev and Mrs R Ferguson were sent as missionaries
to continue the work in Trinity. Their faithful ministry saw rapid
growth in the church, and Trinity had to relocate to the ballroom of
Hotel Equatorial at Bukit Timah Road.
Three buses were also chartered to bring people to church, packing
the ballroom that seated 300. Trinity’s very first baptismal service
was held in 1975, and so its first members came into being.1976 — 2005
Rev Dr Naomi Dowdy
Rev Dr Naomi Dowdy was a missionary evangelist at heart; the
last thing she wanted to do was to pastor a church. So when God
called her to pastor Trinity, she wrestled with Him: 'Not me! I’m
an evangelist, not a pastor. I train pastors, not be a pastor'. Yet,
she yielded to His will. In 1976, Rev. Naomi Dowdy was
appointed as Senior Pastor.
The congregation, then over 250 in number, outgrew the
ballroom of Hotel Equatorial and relocated to the Regional
English Language Centre. To win, nurture and disciple became
Trinity’s mission. By the time she handed the church over to her
successor Rev Dominic Yeo in 2005, Trinity had grown to
become a church of global impact, with about 4,000 in
attendance, three freehold properties in land-scarce Singapore
and a strong missions program.2005 — 2023
Rev Dominic Yeo
Rev Dominic Yeo did not look any bit a leader or a pastor when he first came to Trinity. But God transformed his life radically and saved Him, despite him backsliding over and over again. Eventually, he surrendered himself to God: 'Not my will but Yours be done.' Having been nurtured and discipled in Trinity, this ‘son of the house’ has become spiritual father to many pastors and leaders today, his spiritual sons and daughters. In 2005, he was appointed as the first local Senior Pastor of Trinity. A man of strong prophetic insight, his visionary and strategic leadership has been pivotal in bringing Trinity to exponential growth. Today, Trinity is a growing church in the city of Singapore with more than 7,500 in attendance, of whom over 1,000 are lay leaders.
As at March 12, 2023, Rev Dominic Yeo handed the leadership of Trinity to Rev Gerald Tan.Find Out More!
