Heaven is for all (Web)
Gold represents heaven.
Heaven is a wonderful place. There is no sickness nor pain. It is where God lives and Heaven is for us!
God loves us very much and He desires for all to be with Him in Heaven!
But something separates us from being with God.
John 14:2-3
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
Sin that Separates (Web)
Black represents sin.
Sins are things we think, say or do that displeases God. Our sins have its consequences. We are separated from God. We cannot try to close this gap with our human efforts such as doing good works, living a good life.
But the good news is that God loves us so much that He provides a way for us.
Romans 3:23
For all have sin and fall short of the glory of
God
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of
God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Blood of Jesus (Web)
Red represents the blood of Jesus.
God loves us so much that He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins.
Jesus took the consequences for our sin. He died on the cross so that we can find forgiveness for the wrongs we have done.
His blood broke the curse of sin and reconciled us to God.
John 3:23
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Cleansed (Web)
We can be made clean before God through faith in Jesus Christ.
We can receive this cleansing, by
- Confessing our sins
- Accept that Jesus died on the cross for us
- Asking Jesus to come into our lives to help us turn away from our sins.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Psalm 51:7
Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
New Life (Web)
Green represents the new life in Jesus!
When we receive Jesus into our lives, we enter into a relationship with Jesus. We receive new life in Him! The old has gone, the new has come.
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
